Permanent Collection Exhibition – Opening Reception

The Board of Directors and staff would like to extend you a personal invitation to attend the upcoming exhibition of The Georgina Centre for Arts & Culture Permanent Collection.
Residents and guests, intrepid appreciators and collectors, students of all ages and stages, and those who have not yet been able to visit the gallery, we invite you to join us on Thursday, September 7th from 6pm until 8pm for the Opening Reception of our Permanent Collection Exhibition.
The Permanent Collection will feature paintings by Albert Chiarandini, an Italian Canadian contemporary of the Group of Seven and Bruce Smith, his protégé and donor of the Chiarandini and York Wilson artwork. Gorgeous paintings by Norval Morrisseau and Travis Shilling, along with sculpture by David Ruben Piqtoukum, Gerald Gladstone and others, will delight all guests. Vintage photography by Tom Zsolt of Georgina locales and people will also be on view.
Not since 2015 have these masterful works of art been on display as a collective. It is an honour and a privilege to give them space again for you to appreciate. It is your gallery. Come see!
