Annett Westlake
September's Artist-In-Residence
Annett Westlake is an artist living in Keswick, Ontario.
Originally from Germany, where her passion for art and oil painting began, she is now inspired by the Canadian outdoors including its landscape, wildlife and native art and culture. Currently Annett takes on the challenge of delivering amazing pet portraits, wildlife paintings and more, to clients around the world. She takes commission work on a regular basis.
Annett’s paintings have been displayed at multiple Art Exhibitions, where she has won several awards. One of her paintings of a great blue heron was chosen for the Georgina Street Banner Program in 2021. Annett has illustrated a children’s book “The Christmas Choice”, by author Fred Phillips.
Currently her work is available for viewing and to purchase at the Georgina Centre for Arts & Culture in Sutton.
