Intermediate Oil Painting – with Rebecca Van Gennip

Grow your oil painting skills with Rebecca’s 6 week (Part 2)  intermediate oil painting workshop. Utilize your knowledge of  underpainting sketches, blocking in value, and adding colour but with a boost of new, intermediate lessons such as basic colour theory, the principles of design, all through a more detailed still-life composition. Flexibility of colour and subject matter will be in mind according to folk’s preferences.

Skill level that’s recommended is having completed Rebecca’s “Introduction to oil painting” OR have experience or become familiar with before the first class:

• Have experimented with paint  (Oils or Acylics)
• Understands the basic elements of design (line, shape, space, form, value, colour, texture)
• Have created basic compositions (small or large scale)

 

We will recap on basic knowledge and move forward on a level everyone is comfortable with!

Also, for folks at a higher skill level with oils, utilize this structure of the 6 week classes to come and paint the advanced still-life composition in a welcoming environment alongside peers with the availability of guidance!
