Since 2002, York Region Environmental Alliance (YREA) has worked to influence public policy and community behaviour through initiatives and campaigns by tackling ecological issues that influence our health, the health of our environment and the planet. We advocate for green solutions that support nature, address climate change, lower greenhouse gas emissions (GHGE) and promote healthy, environmentally sustainable lifestyle choices. Through our quarterly e-news, YREA also provides information on the harmful impact of toxic substances.  

Aligned with the theme of the Letters to the Earth: Between Despair and Hope exhibition, guest speaker Gloria Marsh will join us to delve into subjects such as sustainability, climate change, and the well-being of our environment.
