Olex Wlasenko – Following Metropolis, 2018

We are honoured to be able to start the 2024 exhibition season with a spectacular show featuring the work of Olexander Wlasenko.

Olex is the well known and respected curator at the Whitby Station Gallery and an award winning artist. This exhibition will showcase Olex’s passion for film noir and his exquisite large scale charcoal drawings that depict scenes from obscure movies of this genre.

If you have never experienced this work, it is a must see! Sculpture from the GCAC Permanent and private collections will also be on display. Mark your calendars for Saturday, January 20th to attend the Artist Reception with Olex present from 1pm – 3pm.
